BROWNS SIGN ALEX MACK
The Cleveland Browns today signed offensive lineman Alex Mack, its first-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, the team announced. Mack was the 21st overall selection of the draft. Also on Saturday, the team waived linebacker David Holloway.

As we reported on Thursday, the Browns began to focus on Alex Mack as their next priority after signing four of their Day 2 choices. After a false alarm yesterday, the Browns and Mack have agreed to a contract believed to be five years in length and with over $12 million in guaranteed money.
