Fan View: Reality Check (Jeff B.) - Sat, Oct 31 2009 at 11:50 am
Let’s face it, if you’re a Browns fan, you’re between a rock and no place.
It’s a catch-22.
If we stop supporting this very BAD Browns team, Randy Lerner could move the team (he won’t) or we can hold our nose (we will) and look forward to a whole season and beyond like this past week.
We all know Lerner and the rest of the owners all share in the profits from TV and such.
They can finish at the bottom in wins/losses and still turn a large profit.
Hell, Bidwell from Arizona did it for years.
As the late, great comedian Jackie Gleason said "How Sweet It Is." (for them).
By the way, to all those that say "Hey Cleveland, you’re lucky you have an NFL Franchise in such a small market."
They might be right , but I say stick it where the sun don’t shine, buddy.
Here’s the reality check for us loyal Browns fans. We can keep complaining and be ignored or shut up and be ignored.
Either way, were irrelevant.
It’s Lerner’s team, lock, stock and LOSSES.
Go Browns?
